QotD: Favorite Thanksgiving Recipe

  • Nov 24, 2008
  • Post a comment

Thanksgiving is only a few days away. What is your favorite Thanksgiving recipe? Will you be making it this year? Mind sharing?

I love mashpoatoes best. And this year hopefully I will be having some but I am not sure. I have had them a lot over the past few weeks and days. I will not be making mash poatoes this year for even if we have them we are are going to Arizona and therefore cannot bring them with us. But I hope Everyone's Thanksgiving will go well and that they will remeber what really Thanksgiving is for, giving Thanks to God.

Though today is filled with woes by Rebekah Walton

Though today is filled with woes,
Though tomorrow the woes will not be forgotten,
Though I regret my choices,
There is something happy today .

Though tomorrow will only remeber sorrow,
Though I feel the shame of today and the past,
Though I am down with sorrow and remorse,
There is something happy today.

So happy I feel like jumping for joy,
Though all around me remorse and sorry actions,
I feel overwellmed with joy.

I never thought this happen I never dreamed it,
Though  I have really strange dreams,
What happened today was overwellming joy indeed,
My brother scoffed and my sister too,
My friends and enemies have scoffed,
But today was something beyond my hopes,
I was midst sorrow and pain regret and remorse,
When along came writing, writing,
Like the Wall of Babylon,
But instead of bad,
It was overwellming good news,
For once my pier became my friend,
And commented on my behalf,
And he was a prophet.

QotD: If Only

What one trait do you wish more people around you displayed?

Talking more. If they talked more I wouldn't have to dominate the conversation. Even when I ask other people questions they then ask me a question after their really short answer and then I have to dominate the conversation by answering their conversation, and I never find out anything about them.Look if I just wanted to talk to myself I would. I want a real conversation. So, please answer my questions for a long time and skip to different subjects. I really think that would help.
